Training on the Value of Chemical and Microbiological Food Analysis Methods

On November 17, 2015, the Vietnam Food Administration, in collaboration with the National Institute for Food Control, inaugurated the training course on “Validation of Chemical and Microbiological Food Analysis Methods” in Hanoi.

The training course took place over three days, from November 27 to December 1, with instructors being experts from the National Institute for Food Control. The course was attended by 60 participants from regional institutes and preventive medicine centers nationwide.

During the training, participants learned and practiced the following topics:

  • General requirements for method validation

  • Validation of chemical analysis methods

  • Validation of microbiological analysis methods

  • Estimation of measurement uncertainty

  • Ensuring the quality of test results

At the end of the course, participants were awarded certificates by the National Institute for Food Control.
