TECNA TE550 Resistance Welder Controller
The TECNA TE550 is a microprocessor-based controller designed for resistance welding machines. Its main function is to manage the components of the welder, particularly the controlled diodes that regulate welding current. The TE550 is highly versatile, as it can be adapted to various types of welders; it can be installed on spot welders, projection welders, and seam welders. Additionally, it can operate in power control modes, either constant current or constant energy (optional). The number of inlets and outlets can be increased to optimize control for automated welding systems. The controller can store up to 250 welding programs, 31 of which can be accessed directly from an external device. Each program includes multiple programmable parameters that define the welding cycle. Beyond a simple 4-step welding cycle, the TE550 supports advanced welding processes including pre-welding current, post-welding current, slope, and pulse settings.
